Marketplace Terms

Effective September 9, 2026

The essential relationship

Hot Water On Call LLC (“HWOC”) is a marketing and lead-generation company. HWOC is not a plumbing contractor and does not perform, contract for, diagnose, recommend, price, schedule, supervise, accept payment for, permit, inspect, or warrant plumbing work.

1. Marketplace request

When you submit a request, you ask HWOC to try to share the information you provide with one independently owned plumbing company serving your area. Submission is not a plumbing-service contract, appointment, dispatch, quote, or guarantee. HWOC may decline, quarantine, or be unable to match a request.

2. Your consent and accuracy

You must be at least 18 and the property owner or otherwise authorized to request contact. You agree to provide accurate information and your own description of the issue. If you affirmatively select the sharing consent, you authorize HWOC to share the request with one independent plumbing company and authorize request-related calls or texts as stated beside the form. Review our Privacy Notice.

3. Independent plumbing companies

Each plumbing company is a separate business, not HWOC’s employee, subcontractor, agent, joint venturer, franchisee, or representative. The plumbing company must identify itself and is solely responsible for its licenses, insurance, personnel, vehicles, communications, evaluation, diagnosis, recommendations, estimate, price, schedule, contract, payment, refunds, permits, inspections, materials, work, safety, warranties, liens, and complaint handling.

HWOC may review partner information for marketplace eligibility, but that review is not an endorsement, certification, warranty, or guarantee. You should independently verify the company, its Responsible Master Plumber and license number, insurance, references, written scope, permits, price, and warranty before authorizing work.

4. No payment to HWOC for plumbing

HWOC does not accept payment for plumbing work. A partner may pay HWOC a fixed fee for receiving a lead. Any plumbing estimate, deposit, charge, financing, refund, or payment is solely between you and the plumbing company under that company’s contract.

5. Emergencies and safety

HWOC is not an emergency-response provider. Do not rely on this site, form, phone line, text, or matching process for immediate danger. If you smell gas, see fire, face severe flooding, or believe anyone is in danger, leave the area when appropriate and contact 911, the gas utility, or relevant emergency services. HWOC does not provide technical or safety instructions.

6. No guarantees

To the extent permitted by law, HWOC does not guarantee a match, contact, arrival or completion time, availability, diagnosis, recommendation, quote, price, savings, permit, code compliance, workmanship, equipment, warranty, result, or resolution. Marketplace information is provided “as is” and “as available.” Rights that cannot lawfully be disclaimed remain unaffected.

7. Complaints

Direct service, payment, damage, workmanship, warranty, and scheduling issues to the plumbing company. You may also tell HWOC about a partner experience so we can review marketplace eligibility, but HWOC does not become responsible for resolving or paying a partner’s service obligation by receiving a report. Nothing limits your right to contact a licensing board, regulator, insurer, court, or other authority.

8. Acceptable use

Do not submit false, fraudulent, harassing, unlawful, automated, or third-party requests without authority; interfere with the site; attempt unauthorized access; or copy, scrape, resell, or misuse marketplace data or content.

9. Liability framework

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HWOC is not liable for acts or omissions of an independent plumbing company or for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from marketplace use. Any final limitation, dispute-resolution, governing-law, venue, and indemnity language should be reviewed and approved by Texas counsel before commercial launch. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms prospectively by posting a new effective date. Questions: Hot Water On Call LLC, 4033 Hawthorne Drive, Sachse, Texas 75048; privacy@hotwateroncall.com; (469) 902-5104.
